The hotel is located on the best beach in the island , its on the sunset side which is a plus for me.
Rooms are ok, however the staff is one of the worst I found in my travels in Thailand for over 10 years: any requests at the bar or restaurant seems to be a drag and they also had a can't be bothered face.
If you want to pay less and don't mind a 50bht per person ride from anywhere in the island you can easily stay somwhere else and just come over for the day and rent a chair ( or just lay your towel by the plentiful shade just behind )
Trang encompasses an area with a 193-kilometer (120-mile) coastline, as well as 47 islands from the lower Andaman Sea to the Straits of Malacca. Unlike nearby Phuket or Krabi, Trang has been spared from mass development and there is an abundance of forests, beaches, caves, and waterfalls. In fact, two-thirds of the province has been designated a national parkland.
