This was everything we hoped for! A little further from town than we realised, but we were very happy! The view in the morning from the balcony of our room was dreamy! Pool was gorgeous. Definitely recommend!!
7 mins walk from the beach, 2 mins away from famiy mart, 7eleven and pharmacy. Fiod stall are everywhere.
The only thing I am not satisfied, the bed makes noise with the sligtest movement and after room service they did not place a new toilet roll.
But overall, u going to love the hotel... if u love to swim do get the pool access.
This beautiful, large resort is the only property in Au Lo Bakao Bay, which is located on the east side of Phi Phi. Individual huts were well appointed. The deluxe sea view hut had two private outdoor areas with one covered and equipped with loungers, a table and drying rack. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet had plenty of selection, and the Thai restaurant was tasty and had a pleasant, romantic atmosphere. We did find the service hit and miss (sometimes just plain rude...) at both the restaurants and front desk area, which was surprising considering Thailand's reputation for friendly service. The property could also be better lit as it was difficult to navigate at night and more information (a map, how to get to the other side of the island and look out points, etc.) could be provided. We had the impression they really didn't want us to stray from the property. The little 'village' behind the property had a great Thai restaurant named Pad Thai and a bar (can't remember the name...) that we especially enjoyed. Note, you cannot get to the main lookout point from the hotel (we spent too much time trying), and getting to Ton Sai Bay (the main town) is difficult by land so riding the ferry is recommended.
The location n cut to a bend in the lovely beach makes this stretch seem private to the hotel. Super quiet. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are incredible in every department. I extended my stay and cannot wait to come back. Really excellent place

"Nice hotel for some R&R. Five stars all the way."
The reception and the Leisure Concierge Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room had a balcony with beautiful views of the beach in addition to being super clean and comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful pool and an in-house ice cream parlor. There is also a morning meditation class and a host of other activities which we did not have time to try. The hotel offers free shuttle services throughout the day to Ao Nang which is a 15 minute drive. The hotel is a good place to stay for those looking for some R&R.
Although on a peninsula, visitors reach Railay Beach only by boat, 10 minutes from Ao Nang and 30 minutes from Krabi. The West Beach, surrounded by scenic limestone cliffs and tropical jungle, beckons sunbathers with soft sand and spectacular sunsets. The fantastic limestone cliffs challenge rock climbers from around the world, while instructors lead classes for less-experienced climbers.
