The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room we were given initially lacked the privacy touted by the resort, but that was easily resolved upon request. It may be due to an off-season visit, but the grounds were very quiet, with no crowds to be found. The villa's are great for a relaxed stay and once you factoring in room service, offer everything you need if looking to lounge around for a long weekend. There is a beach near by, accessed by short walk or golf cart ride, and they resort has a private area next to the more populous public area. As an Expedia+ member, I received a discounted rate on all food and drinks purchased there, which was a nice bonus.

I stayed earlier in December with my partner and loved the place. It was fantastic enough for me to book it again the following week so that my mum and sis could experience it as well. And once again, Samabe has exceeded all expectations.
From the fruit carving lesson, to breakfast, to the room with the inspiring beautiful view, private beach, to the placement of the items in the room, everything about Samabe was thoughtfully planned.
The staff are very professional and courteous. There was a small WiFi issue upon checking in which they rectified in 20 mins and the General Manager went out of his way to write them an apology card with chocolates! Totally unexpected but very thoughtful!
Thanks Ralph and Team, if I'm feeling the need to be pampered again, Samabe will be the place I'll choose again. Everyone needs to experience the Samabe Way. :)
Staff are very nice and helpful. They will go out of their way to attend to all your needs. Food is delicious as well. You will not want to eat somewhere else. Special thanks to Ana of front desk. She was very kind and caring and made sure we had a place to rest after our long flight and helped us to check in our room earlier.
Stayed at the Mantra Sakala for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Stayed with my boyfriend who was also full of praise for the hotel. We had already spent a week in a much busier, louder part of Bali, so to be able to retreat to Nusa Dua, sit by the pool, order cocktails practically on the beach and watch the stars from our quiet little balcony was the perfect, and needed relaxing end to our trip. The staff were always very friendly, offering "Good mornings" and "How are you's?" in the hallways if we passed them. Our "Deluxe Room" was beautifully furnished and was the perfect size for a young couple. Although it took us a few goes to master all the light switches and figure out which switch corresponded with what light globe, from beginning to end we were made to feel relaxed and pampered. For the days where we had a little more energy and didn't want to sun-bake all day by the pool, we made great use of the WaterSports activity centre across the road, trying many things such as "Banana Boating," Jet Skiing, and Parasailing. Most restaurants in close range of the hotel were decently priced, but definitely worth double checking the menu first as some were extremely pricey. In particular regard to food, the hotel's room-service menu was delicious and well priced.
We had a great time staying at this resort, it was in a good location, we felt very safe! If you are after local markets and food it is a little hard to get to, but a taxi is always available. They staff were extremely friendly and would go to great lengths to help you out. Would definitely recommend!
I sprained my ankle couples days before going to Bali. I was not able to enjoy the beach and swim in the sea. But I was impressed by the service. They are friendly and willing to help you. I asked for something to deliver to my room. It was quick. Great service, definitely recommended.
Bungalows are fantastic and large.
It is a real tropical environment and we had a great time.
Food was a bit limited and could have had more variety.
My only negative comment was crowds smoking at the pool bar in the water. We can't do that at home in Australia, so why in Bali?
Smoking should not be allowed in a family pool.
However I would always stay at the Bali tropic

Nusa Dua is synonymous with style. Bali’s most luxurious resorts are located here, along with a championship golf course ranked among Asia’s Top 5. The southern tip of Benoa Peninsula delivers seclusion, a palm-fringed reef-protected beach, clear waters for diving, and waves that rate from gentle (northern peninsula) to surfable (southern peninsula). Art galleries, fashion boutiques, and restaurants provide plenty of temptation.
