Friendly and helpful staff throughout the entire stay. Decent rooms for the price we paid; on our 2nd and 3rd night we received a free room upgrade as they wanted to do some cleaning services to our 'superior room'. Food was average but had a variety to choose from. Staff made us feel welcomed throughout the entire stay. Not every staff was able to speak fluent English but they made the effort to make sure no miscommunication happened throughout my stay there. Thanks Sunari for making my 1st trip to Lovina a memorable one!

Sunari Villas and Spa Resort is set among the tropical garden of Bali and the beautiful rice fields. The nearest town …More
The stay was very nice, however the location is not ideal, unless you are ready to catch a ride to anywhere. There are two local restaurants which can be reached by walking on the beach, very dangerous to walk on the side of the road as the walk path has large open pits, which are very difficult to see during the night.
Although my wife and I only stayed for 1 night at one of the villas in the CLV Hotel on our way from Kuta to the north of Bali, we loved our stay there. The hotel is relatively new, and is both affordable and comfortable. The view from the villa porch onto Lake Bratan near Bedugul was stunning. The villa itself did not have air conditioning, but that was not needed as it gets quite chilly in the evenings, almost necessitating a sweater. The staff were easy to deal with, and the restaurant was great. The hotel is within walking distance to Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, a stunning temple on the lake. It is also within a short driver (10 km) to the Gitgit waterfalls. There is not much to do in the town otherwise, but just these alone are enough for a great short stay there. We would definitely recommend this to others and would stay there ourselves again!
Senetan is a wonderful villa and resort with a warm and friendly staff who make you feel like family. Although it is a ways out, it is well worth it. The villa is closed but open meaning your room is closed off but other surrounding parts are not. The staff is very respectful of your privacy and very accommodating. It was everything I was looking for and I can't wait to go back!
We chose the Nugraha Lovina hotel for its location and we were not disappointed. It is on the sea front and the view from the room/ restaurant/ pool is beautiful. We would recommend this hotel because of the overall beautiful setting; we really enjoyed the outdoor facililties. However, if you look at things more closely, you start to notice things are past their use-by date and are not as clean as they should be.
The staff was ever so polite and accommodating, which was a bonus. Finally, the food was not the best, lack of taste and not the best quality.
Brand new & clean towels & comfortable beds. Cable TV. Bugs in the house is probably inevitable as it is close to forested area, ants, flying insects....but still alright for us.
Owner was helpful & polite to welcome us. Can book the Dolphin tour thru them, should cost about 100K per person or 400-450K per boat which sits about 4-6 ppl max.
Location is very close to the Dolphin tour boats area, about 10mins drive. So leave at ~5.45am for the tour.
Centered on Bali's quieter north coast, the black sand shore of Lovina Beach stretches for 12 kilometers. Dolphins sightseeing trips depart daily, and hand-carved dolphin statues are popular souvenirs. Snorkeling and spa visits are popular activities, but those looking to explore the area should visit Bali's largest Buddhlist monastery, Brahma Vihara Arama, and the enchanting Banjar Hot Springs.
