A beautiful resort. Nestled in the hillside, the lush tropical grounds and beautiful views will not fail to impress. Two gorgeous infinity pools await your every refreshing dip. The setting is indeed equally wonderful, with an expansive beach with bath-warm water to bathe in.
The saddening thing - by no means a Pimalai problem - is the amount of plastic and other rubbish in the sea. It really is a sad indictment on our consumer society. One morning we woke up for a walk along the beach to find a whole TV washed up on the beach. The resort staff heroically clean up the beach each day, but you can't help feeling they are fighiting a losing battle.
None of this should detract from what is really a very luxurious, enjoyable and relaxing experience at Pimalai. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.
The staff was very kind and helpful, breakfasts were delicious and the beach was just amazing (long and not crowded). We fell in love with the place. The rooms and bathrooms were clean at all times and the mosquitoes net worked perfectly fine. There is a long pool and sunbeds available for guests. We would totally come back to this hotel. It is highly recommended.

"Lovely grounds and one of the best swimming pools "
Check in was slow due to staff not being able to converse in English .They tried their best which is acceptable. They now have a English speaking front desk lady by the name of Elle. Once settled in the hotel , we were content and one of the best resorts we have been ,though quite a distance from Ko Lanta . Perfect location for Island speed boat cruises . My wife fractured her ankle and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and cannot thank them enough for what they did . Check out was quick and staff extremely helpful .

The hotel is quiet and peaceful. The pace is slow and calm. All adults no children. Very chill and relax. The only noisy thing is the the air con in my room. It made loud noise at night... quite difficult to fall asleep... haha.

Lanta Island is a cultural melting pot. Chinese merchants live side-by-side with Thai fishing families. Nine beaches line the west coast, with Ban Saladan being the main centre for dive shops and dining. The island can be reached by ferry from both Krabi (2 hours) and Trang (2.5 hours).
