Overall they get enough right to make the stay a pleasant one, and we'd stay there if returning to that area. We arrived and early and were promptly welcomed and checked in. The room was clean although the bathroom wasn't brand new / sparkling as such. Air cond, wi-fi all efficient, bed on the firmer side, but still comfortable.
Pool is massive and the highlight of the stay - water clean and pool is very well maintained. A bit of a shame that other guests will "reserve" lounges from early morning. Makes it difficult to get a spot if you fancy a dip.
We spent 3 days here in January and would have loved to stay longer. The resort is lovely with beautiful grounds and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed each of our delicious meals in the range of restaurants on site, pleasant walks, relaxing on the beach or by the pools, cooling off in the infinity pools, chilling out with a cocktail during happy hour. It felt like a paradise.
The prices were very reasonable. A lot of the water sports are included free so we used a kyack to explore a nearby island. They also ran activities throughout the day but we didn't get involved in these. There is a gym which is small but adequate and tennis courts.
We got what we paid for a good enough room really close to the beach. Not the cleanest but we didn't spend much time there so it didn't matter too much. Friendly staff. Maybe don't book if you don't like insects but it's Thailand so what can u expect.
Upscale Khlong Muang Beach is one of Krabi’s quieter beaches. The long expanse of white sand leads to tide pools on the north end and a royal residence at the south end. The beach has just a few restaurants, with most nightlife at nearby Ao Nang, 15 minutes away.
