Friendly staff. Unfortunately the safe was not availble and there was only one room key. Which was left on front desk while out of hotel. The pool was really small like 2 foot deep and inside.
Breakfast next door was interesting!
Overall I enjoyed my stay and woukd probably stay again.
We loved our stay at Temple Tree, it was peaceful, relaxing and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food at the Bon Ton restaurant was delicious. The pool was lovely and clean and we were often the only ones using it.
The walk to the beach/shops area was a little long in the heat, but we expected this, so it was easy to take a taxi.
I would love to stay here again.

Check in was an absolute nightmare. Over an hour to get a room. Our garden view room was right up the other end of the resort and overlooked the stormwater drain. Very disappointing start, but the staff and food were so lovely they made up for it. The rooms were also fantastic.
I book for three rooms (1) family room - 3 Queen bed (2) 2 Queen bed - don't have fridge, shower gel & shampoo and mineral water provided. As well as the hair dryer upon request. (3) 1 queen bed - no mineral water provided.. the reception said is because its still under renovation..
The room is spacious and reasonably clean. I love sitting at the beach waiting for the sunset. When I checked in, it was raining and water were dripping at 2 spots in the room. My other concern is mosquitoes at night in the room. Had to buy and spray before sleeping the next night. Also, there was something knocking in the ceiling the first night. Not sure whether it's a bird or squirrel. At first I loved the open bathroom but the mosquitoes and honestly a little bit creepy if you want to go to the toilet at night. The shower curtain looks a bit shabby. Other than that, I think the price is affordable and much better than some places that I have stayed in Langkawi.
The staff are lovely and went out of their way to make sure everything was done for us, booking tours, ordering cabs and even delivering a mini breakfast buffet to our villa on our final night as we had to leave early.
The villa was big and had everything we could have needed. Bars, beach, restaurant and he main town are all within walking distance. If you want to rent a car or bikes the cheapest option is to turn left out of the hotel and walk about 1km.
The free foot massage is a bonus.

The stay in the resort was good and environment quite happening. Staff very friendly but things need to look into is the swimming pool cleanliness and car park. I rent a car but never use because no parking provided so just park at the road side because once you drive out couldn't find parking. Beside than that everything was fine
Cenang Beach is the most popular beach on the island of Langkawi, as well as the most developed. Offering almost 4 kilometers of tropical white sand, there's plenty of room to stretch your legs. Major resorts and hotels line the shore, and the area has a lively dining and social scene when the sun goes down. For families, Underwater World Langkawi aquarium features a 15-meter underwater tunnel.
