Friendly staff. Unfortunately the safe was not availble and there was only one room key. Which was left on front desk while out of hotel. The pool was really small like 2 foot deep and inside.
Breakfast next door was interesting!
Overall I enjoyed my stay and woukd probably stay again.
Such a well maintained place with all sorts of nature things. Ponds, plants, frogs, toads, birds, salamanders, and etc are all around in sight. If you're a nature person, this could be the best you can have. The individual rooms are wooden themed, excellent designs, light rays came through coloured glass panels on the windows and lit up the room gorgeously, a nice way to be woken up by morning sunlight. The down parts are tight spaces, rooms are really warm during the day, and really poor soundproofing. Oh yea, there's no heater for shower.
Hotel is really good at first. Until we ready to sleep. Their quilts and pillow case are raised! And pillow case has lots of yellow stain which is really disgusting. Also no hair dryer for us, told us we we will be only getting hair dryer if there is someone who returned. Alright we waited until checked out still couldn't get it
upon arrival at the lobby, we had 1 large suitcase, 1 baby stroller, a few smaller bags, but there was no one to help us unload the bags or carry all our stuff to the lobby. i had to drop the wife and kids and all the luggage, park the car, then lug all those to the lobby myself.
check-in was a breeze luckily.
What shocked me was, upon entering the room, the was a strong stench of damp carpet in the air that wouldn't go away until the day we checked out. there was no ventilation and the air-conditioning was switched off and that probably contributed to the strong foul smell .
Room condition was disappointing to say the least. plenty of mould on the bathroom walls and even on the walls on the balcony. furniture was the same since the first time i stayed there in 2003. Room service was awesome and cheap though. remember to try the pizza!!
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, but i can't believe they don't have baked beans served in a hotel with so many foreigners.
Swimming pool, excellent. right by the beach.
Generally the hotel has all the facilities it should, albeit in a deplorable sorry state that needs updating and more staff actually tending to guests rather than nowhere to be seen.

The 4-star picturesque resort is sprawled over 13 acres of land, fronting on one of the island's finest beach at Pantai …More
Simple but clean rooms. Air conditioning needed servicing. Good enough but could be much cooler on some of the really hot afternoons. Close proximity to the beach. Nice pool. Very near a convenience i.e. gecko to get your beers and snacks and basically any other thing you need. Restaurants are around but never tried any of them. Cenang is about a 15 minute walk away but if you take uber or grab it's very cheap to get there. I would stay there again when I go back.
Cenang Beach is the most popular beach on the island of Langkawi, as well as the most developed. Offering almost 4 kilometers of tropical white sand, there's plenty of room to stretch your legs. Major resorts and hotels line the shore, and the area has a lively dining and social scene when the sun goes down. For families, Underwater World Langkawi aquarium features a 15-meter underwater tunnel.
