We stayed 1week in mid-November and in spite of the rain forecast had a great mostly sun-experience. The resort is very clean and the staff are very helpful. Overall a 4.5
One of the comments I see from other travelers and also who I met while I was at the resort indicated that people do not do research on this resort. This resort is relatively isolated and is private with only boat access as a primary means. It is not clear why travelers do not understand this or appreciate this when selecting this resort.
1) Isolated Private Beach for Resort only Guests ( other resort and public beaches in general appeared to be overwhelmed with guests).
2) food quality at breakfast -good and consistent
4) Islands proximity
1) Staff in general, is a bit on the younger side although is extremely happy and helpful.
2) food quality at dinner was inconsistent.
3) picky comment-The facilities overall look like the resort was built as a five-star resort in the early 2000 era but there are a number of minor property delinquencies that make it more like a 4.2 to 4.5 star due to age related wear and tear due to lack of pro-active upkeep/maintenance. To be specific- As property owner myself, I spotted a lot of items ( especially in the room's showers, bathtubs, and bathrooms) as routine maintenance that should be kept up, but perhaps there is a corporate decision to do otherwise and minimize the proactive upkeep and maintain a reactive posture.

The hotel is located in a quiet, secluded area of Krabi. It is very nicely presented, with pretty gardens, pool area and beautiful scenery all around it. The location does mean that your options for drinks and food are somewhat limited, but the relaxation and quietness of it is worth it. If you're looking to relax and get away from the stress of every day life then this is highly recommended.

Had six nights at the Bhu Nga. We found it a great base form which to enjoy Railay Beach. Railay itself is splendid - the beach at West Railay just great. Being a boat ride to get away from Railay means you have to make a bit of an effort to go elsewhere - but the place itself is relaxed, scenic and with a good variety of eating places. But being a little 'cut off' it is also a bit more expensive - there is a captive market...
The hotel/resort is certainly pleasant enough. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are extremely polite and accommodating. On the negative side the gym is a bit on the small side and the machines seemed under maintained. Drinks are on the expensive side.

"3 bedroom pool villa with seaview in klong muang"
Stayed in possibly the best room in the hotel where we can view gorgeous sunset while lounging in our own infinity pool. Great stay for a quiet do-nothing holiday. However, beach is not great for swimming - rocky bottom, many long tails and water is not clear. As for villa, needs better pillows that stay puffed. Breakfast is not great either. Hotel has nice landscape but can see that it is hard to upkeep. Staff is friendly. Day trip to Tubkeak beach is worth it for the nice beach (but railey's still the best ). Nice villa is best highlight for the 3nights stay. If only, there were more amenities nearby.
